Asslamwalaykoom Warahmatullah
We would like to officially announce, with great pleasure, that The Muslim Community at Rutgers University has once again become ONE unified organization. There are no longer two separate Muslim groups on campus anymore- but rather ONE unified body representing the Ummah as a whole.
In order for this unification to occur, certain things needed to have been changed for the sake of unity- specifically a new logo, and a new name. And so, ISRU & SALAM have combined to bring you the new
RU-MSA, the Muslim Student Association of Rutgers University
We ask Allah(swt) to bless this new organization and ask everyone to show their support and enthusiasm for this coming fall semester.

The Muslim Student Association of Rutgers University relies on the continual help and support of the community around it. We are currently in great need of Ramadan Iftar sponsors to help cover the costs of food and accommodations.
The organization provides iftar to about 200 students daily (Monday though Thursday) in the month of Ramadan. The cost a single iftar is approximately $850.00. We are asking all to donate what ever they can for the sake of Allah. Whether it's a group of friends pooling together to sponsor one iftar or its an alumni giving back to the community- everything is appreciated.
The Prophet Muhammad PBUH mentioned the reward of feeding the fasting when he reported that whoever feeds a fasting person to break his or her fast will get the same reward as the fasting person without any reduction...
If interested please go to the Iftar Page for more information.
